Bear Paws in the Country

Noni Rose brought this to me. She likes to applique. ( we are now trading services….I just can’t help how much I love applique!)

Anyway Noni is really prolific..and she is local. :)

I have no idea what the real name of the pattern is. But I love the fabrics. All of those plaids and stripes are just so comfortable and charming. I love the bits of color she used in the flowers to make them stand out.  I quilted using Charisma curls, echoing, leaves, and continuous curves. I think I need to start collecting some plaids and wovens..don’t you? I have never made a quilt like this…..it looks like it would be perfect for up-cycled shirts.
