Bear Paw Prints

Faith sent this to me for LAQ. Faith is a dear friend that I met through the QB’s amazing how the internet an make connections…isn’t ?

Faith’s had this quilted for a friend who lost someone near & dear to her and she wanted this gifted to her dad….it’s nice to be a part of something so special.

051I really wish I could have gotten better pictures. *sigh* My pictures don’t do the quilt any justice.

Faith requested that I quilt in a fern and maybe a bear. 🙂

Do you see my tree & bear outlines in the border?

052 053 054 055I also quilted in leaves, stipple, continuous curves and a swirl… turned out beautiful.

Thanks Faith! always a pleasure working with you! Many blessings on the gift. 🙂

  1. So pretty. I made one similar for Jack for our fiftieth wedding anniversary over 15 years ago. Of course it was hand quilted, not nearly as nicely as this one. Mine had Maple leaves around the border. Love you, my sweet friend, Roberta

  2. This has always been a favorite of mine, too. This one is especially lovely! And, the quilting (as usual) is exceptional.
