Bette brought me these quilts.

She always does a nice job. I am not sure what the real names of these patterns are….but the blue fabric used in this first one is a very watery …or marbelized kind of texture. It’s very pretty and gives nice movement in the pattern. I wanted to break up the quilting and quilt 2 different designs in the 2 colors of fabric. So the blue got straight lines.

The beige got serpentine type designs following each strip. It created great texture.

Bette made this for a friend who is retiring…I am guessing he is going to spend his time fishing? hehe. I quilted ferns, water designs and outlined the panel designs to bring it all together.

Thanks Bette! always a pleasure working with you!
