Felicia sent me this quilt witha  mission if I chose to accept it:

MAKE IT JOLLY!

This is a line of fabric my Mary Englebreight. I think it’s adorable! The fabrics are very festive..but if you don’t look closely at the fabrics ..you may get the feeling that it is not very Christmas-sy ( I know that isn’t proper..but I talk like that all the time anyway…please love me even though I don’t speak proper english?? This is when I wish I could do the eye thing like Puss-in-Boots.)  So I thought..holly..would do just that trick along with ribbons. I also quilted in words….in the white border with swirly ribbons so that  it would make it a bit festive. I used Continuous curves in the chain to frame it all in.

It’s beautiful and JOLLY!

Thanks so much!

    “Oh, by gosh, by golly
It’s time for mistletoe and holly

…As they whisper, “Merry Christmas” to you”

That sums it up! You never cease to amaze me…always exceding far beyond my quilting dreams.

    WOW! Thank you C
