IMG_4898Wanda made this quilt while her husband was ill. He has since passed and she wanted to finish it. It will be a beautiful reminder of their last days together. IMG_4901

I am always in love with these sentimental projects. It’s a beautiful quilt. She did needle turn applique for all of the flowers….STUNNING! and the variety of fabrics she used is AMAZING! she must have collected for a long time. :) Us quilters know how to do that…don’t we? IMG_4899 IMG_4900

I quilted feathered wreaths in all of the pieced blocks, Charisma curls around the flowers, leaves and continuous curves in the borders. The sun is shining bright today..tough to get decent photos. But I think you can see the designs well enough to get the picture. IMG_4903 IMG_4904

It’s a beautiful quilt and it will be a special hug from her loved one every time she sees it. Beautiful love story!

Thanks Wanda! It’s a pleasure working with you!
